I can still dream.

I've been looking at floor plans pretty much since I've been up this morning. Now I just want to build a house so bad it's not even funny. lol

I've been looking mostly at the ones that have the master on the second floor with the other bedrooms. I am just afraid that the kids would be too scared to have a whole level to themselves. To tell you the truth I'm not too fond of that idea either. lol

There are alot of beautiful homes that are waiting to be built. I really want to get out of this house. I will live here as long as it takes but I really want out. That sounds so bad doesn't it? haha I just would like my son to have an actual room that involves a door. I would also like to give them the same size rooms. Throw in an extra room for scrapping or playtime and I'll be one happy girl! ;)

I've ruined the routine.

Hahaha...Well, it wasn't entirely my fault. Jeremy got home about 10:30 or so. I had him try on some new coveralls that I got him for work. He asked why couldn't it wait till tomorrow because he was tired. I told him that I needed to know if I had to wash clothes before I went to bed. The uniform service gave him somebody else's coveralls (yeah they're not realiable AT ALL) so he was going to wear those today. Yay! I had gotten up at 4:30am yesterday so at 10:30 pm that was the last thing that I wanted to do. Laundry. :( Which would have meant being up until 4:30am.

So at about 11:30 or so we went to bed. At 2am there was a screaming fit right beside me coming from a red headed 5 yr old. Ugh. He had brought his pillow wanting to sleep with us. He wanted the edge. No can do because I was so hot last night I slept with the covers half on and half off. He threw an absolute fit because he didn't want to sleep next to his daddy. Maybe in my half asleepness I was selfish but I told him it was in between us or in his own bed. He cried off and on for almost 2 hours. Remember the alarm is going to go off about 4:30am. I finally got him up in the bed after an hour of his crying and then he didn't want to lay down. So he just sat there cried and kicked. I've got some bruised man he can kick. Needless to say after I got Jeremy off to work I laid back down, set the alarm for 7, and went back to sleep. Woke up with the my sister knocking on the door at 11:00. Oops. Slept through the alarm. Christian was worn out. He slept till after noon. I figured he was tired so I didn't disturb him.

Unfortunately we'll have to start over with the routine. Which means bedtimes at 8:30pm. We'll have to see how we do. Hopefully no more kicks in the back. :)

Pics of my Cemetery visit:

Here are some pics of the cemetery I visited Saturday. It doesn't have any trees or benches. It's right on a highway but it is extremely calm there. The trees in the backgrounds are not on the property. :oP

This is the reason I went. I blacked out all dates and names for security reasons. It really is a pretty stone though.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The kids got back from their papaw's on Sunday and were super excited. Jeremy had to work all day Sunday and only got home about 30 mins before the kids got back. :( Poor guy is working so much lately. We're hoping to be able to go out Sat and take our neighbor with us. He needs a break. So far Jeremy isn't home yet. I guess they had some major stuff break down today. :( Christian is with my sister and should be home shortly. He has not wanted to stay home. I thought this started later in life. lol

We are starting a new routine so we can be ready for school in a little over a month. I'm trying to get up every morning at 4:30 to get Jeremy off to work. Wish me luck!

I have been childless since Friday night...

and still don't know what to do with myself. lol Jeremy has been at work and the kids are staying with their papaw till tomorrow. The house is just too quiet for me. I have been gone practically all day.

I went to the cemetery where my grandparents and my aunt are buried. I cleaned up their stones and put new flowers in my grandparent's containers. Very sad. My neices were with me when I was taking pictures. This was the first time they had ever been to a cemetery. They did rather well and were not morbid afterwards. I did get pictures but unfortunately left my camara at my other grandmother's house so I can't upload them. I'll get them tomorrow. I just can't handle being there that long. Too emotional for me. I cried just talking to them today. I introduced their great granddaughters to them and just welled up so bad. I had to turn away from the girls so that they didn't see me cry. I had told them that they were better off. They seemed to understand. They even wanted to walk around a bit to look at the other headstones. My youngest neice wanted to go into a moselium. Umm no.

Well, gotta go. :)

Good/Bad news today...

I'll start with the good news. My friend had her baby today! I'm excited for her. This is her second and he weighed 6lbs 3oz and was 18in long. I went and seen them in the hospital today. Too cute! I told her that this baby wasn't helping me get over my baby fever. :( lol I'm so glad this one went much better for her. Their first son had to stay in the NICU and this one looks like he'll get to stay in the room with them. Yay!! :)

Now for the bad news: Can someone tell me how does one get hurt at Vacation Bible School? My son managed to get hit in the face with a frisbee. lol Poor thing. He said that it doesn't hurt unless you touch it. Accidents happen. lol Here's a pic and don't worry he's not sick or knocked out from it. He was asleep when I took this. That's why he looks like this:

Under his left eye.

Got the letter for the Kindergarten Kickoff today. It's official my baby is going to school!!!!!! Yikes!! That letter made it more real somehow. I don't know how to explain it. I read it and just hugged him. Sounds corney doesn't it? lol He said it's just school mom. lol He's going to be ok and I know it but he's growing up!!! I'm not ready for it. :(

Time to live life and get through it! :) Later!

Somedays you just can't find the time to get online...

I realize I haven't updated since last Wed. Wow, that's a long time. One thing led to another and I just couldn't find the time.

Our 6th wedding anniversary was last Saturday the 17th. We went out to eat since he had to work that day. We were planning on going to a hotel this weekend and to an amusement park BUT he has to work all weekend so that idea went out the window.

Jeremy decided to stay at this job for awhile. He's going to be on straight days so it should be easier. Plus he'll be home more for the kids.

Went and visited his fater on Sunday. I visited mine on Saturday.

I do get a break from my kids this weekend! Jeremy's dad and stepmom are keeping them all weekend. I won't know what to do with myself.

Christian is doing Vacation Bible School this week and so far is having a ball. He made a fish the first night and yesterday made a mobile. Too cute!

I have my old babysitting job back. I'm watching my neices again. This is a good thing and a bad thing. :)

I have to get lunch started. Later!

Never been so glad to be home....

Our local fair is in town this week. Well, they had free bracelet night tonight for the kids. You have to have a bracelet or tickets to ride the rides.Well my MIL, SFIL, and I decided it would be a good idea to take the kiddos. When I say kiddos I mean my two, my sister's two, and my neighbor's daughter. Whew...that was 5 kids! LOL My MIL took Caitlyn and went and watched the talent show while my SFIL and I took the other four for rides and games. Overall they were really good. There was only a couple of times that we had to get on them. I feel bad because we were so busy playing nobody wanted to eat anything. :( We got home about 9:30 and the kids were hungry. Of course they wanted their cotton candy. LOL Yeah...no.

Caitlyn has her bracelet on her leg. I was afraid she would pull it off of her wrist. She is bad about things like that. Even as a newborn she would wiggle the hospital bracelet off her wrist. Good thing they kept another one on her leg.

Well, at least everyone had a good time. The little neighbor girl said that she wanted to go back and would pay me to take her back. I asked her where she would get the money because she is only 4. She told me that she would pay me out of her piggy bank. I can tell you this too, her daddy is going to have a problem out of her. She flirted so much tonight. LOL I had to pull her away a few times. What till daddy hears about this! LOL :)

Anyway, I'm glad to be home and all the kids are home, safe, and ALL accounted for! :)

I got another sunburn...

Oh Lord when well I ever learn? LOL Probably when I'm dead and buried. We have been outside today and when we came in I noticed that my legs are red and the tops of my feet are red. LOL They look funny cause I sat with my legs crossed most of the time and I also had my flip flops on. I'm keeping lotion on them so hopefully they won't peel. I haven't peeled on my shoulders so I think I'm pretty safe. Christian's peeled. Poor thing.

Carrie, I meant to tell you the other day that Keegan is so cute! What a doll baby! Oh and Christian has been running around telling people that he now has a new friend but she lives far away. LOL He wanted to know if they could play so I had to explain where you guys are and where we are! He has a little trouble saying her name but it's so cute when he does! :)

I'm sorry I haven't been on here updating. Been outside almost everyday.

Took Christian to see Cars Sunday. Very cute movie! I recommend to all the little ones. Christian was so good and he was cheering for the cars and everything. He loves it! We're taking Jeremy to see it for Father's day!

I'm going to court tomorrow. Helping out a neighbor of mine. Please say good thoughts. I'm so nervous and it's not even my problem. :(

Jeremy is quitting his job and going to look for new work. Where's he's at is doing some very bad things which I don't feel comfortable to share here.

The local fair has started up. Not sure if I'm taking the kids. Christian would much rather be here in the pool.

We have the whole week off from t ball. Whew!! :) Only a few more games till we're through this season. :(

Hopefully I can update this more often. I'm trying!

Another day outside pretty much ALL day...

and I'm sunburnt now. LOL I can deal with that. The bad thing is Christian got sunburnt a little bit even with reapplying sunblock all day. Ughh. That's the only thing I hate about their hair. It means that they are really sensitive about the sun. I used a LOT on him. It isn't as bad as this one was though:

This is the time he got burnt at daycare. :( All they told me was they just didn't think about it. I should have sued their asses. I regret that now. Ah well, it was 2 years ago and he doesn't have any lingering effects from it. He barely even remembers it.

I did get a couple of cute pics today:

^^^ Caitlyn in the pool! SHE FINALLY GOT IN IT TODAY!!!! YAY!!! We figured out the trick for her. She has to be in BEFORE anyone else gets in. I guess they are so rough while they're playing that she's too scared to get in there. My neighbor was standing in the pool with her while I was taking pictures. He was there just in case she fell, tripped, went under, or anyother of the hundred of possibilities that could have happened.

^^^This is my youngest neice. She was riding on our neighbor boy's bike. They all love this bike. lol All the other kids were in the pool and she decided that she didn't want to swim anymore. I just thought it was a cute picture. :)

Well, it's almost 3AM and Jeremy is still not home yet. Hasn't even called. I guess he was really busy tonight. I'm getting ready to go to bed without him. haha...although I really don't want to. I may just crash on the couch till he gets home.

We had such a big day today. Whew but I'm glad it's over. Hey it's summer, I say let the kids stay up! They sleep later that way. LOL j/k My kids have always been late to bedders. Hey it's Christian's last summer before school starts. I'm bending the rules this time. LOL Well, until the middle of July when we'll try to get on a routine to get to bed earlier for school. :) The kids want to go outside tomorrow too. I dunno, I got to clean my house sometime. lol

Later! :)

A freaky picture...

or I thought so anyway. Look at this picture. Do you see the cross in the middle? This was the best picture I could get of this. We know it was a reflection off of something. We don't know where the reflection came off of. It reflected on my passenger window of my car. It was really cool/freaky at the same time. It was a crystal clear cross. What made it better was it showed up on 6/6/06.

This next picture is not at all freaky. My last post had a picture of Caitlyn eating with the background all lit up by lightning. Look at this picture. It was taken before the other one I posted. The background is all dark. I think the flas on my camara helped with getting that far(it's a very bright flash).
I found this picture for the message board today. It was right before we started to get my hair done for prom. I wish I could look like this now. Even with the two toned hair. LOL

The Castle cake...

I made a castle cake for my neice today. Well, I started it last night and I finished it today. I didn't think it looked that great but for my first time attempting something so complex looking it was ok. Here are some pictures:

It started out as a Barbie cake but when she saw a picture of a castle she wanted the castle. So of course Aunt Becky gave in and made her what she wanted. :) lol It tasted good by the way. I got the idea from: http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/special/cake/cake_princesscastle/ Sorry I don't know how to link anyother way right now.

Here are a couple of pics of the kiddos while we were at the party.

Caitlyn eating her cake(do you see how light it was outside? It was dark but we were having thunderstorms at the time so I think lightening may have lighted up the background for me)...

Christian being his silly self. He was on the go go go.... lol

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend! :)

Updates...

I am NOT preggers! Yippee and ahh man too. I've been feeling baby fever for awhile now and the only way I'll ever get another one is by accident. I took a test and it was negative.

I found out what it will be like if Christian continues on with sports on up till high school. It started raining during his game tonight. I'll tell you this Caitlyn did not like the umbrella at all. They finally called the game off but not before Christian got the chance to hit. He did hit the ball off the machine twice. Once a foul ball and the second was in play. He swung one handed only once.

Came home and took these pics...

My little monkey(yes I know she's on the coffee table, I was close by),

She was in a smiling mood...

Look Mommy, right there,

Christian took this pic of Spiderman.

This is the kitty from hell who has now decided that he was going to uproot and chew on my sunflowers that are growing. (Remember the present from the kids, the sunflower grow kit?)

I would love to post pics of Christian in his uniform but I hope you can understand I'm not going to for security reasons. He is so cute in it though. :)

Watched the Ghost Hunters season finale last night. I enjoyed it. Especially what happened in Jason's room. Awesome footage there. I want to go stay there at the Stanley Hotel. Jeremy told me that I wouldn't last the night and I said let's go and see what happens. If he's not careful I'll make it a point to drag him there. lol :)

Hope you have a great day!

Carrie

Hey girl! I just wanted you to know that I try to read your blog daily BUT my computer won't let me sometimes. Sometimes when I start reading your page my computer locks up. Maybe my connection likes your connection. lol jk. I don't know what it's all about but wanted you to know I read yours when I can! :)
