Crankiness and Science Fair Projects

I don't know if anybody actually reads this other then the times I post the link. I'm keeping up what I said I would do anyway.

Today has been a tough day for me. I haven't had a patch on all day because I have one left and can't just spend the money to buy another box. The craving for a ciggarette are AWFUL today! I have been cranky and especially cranky with my kids. One of them because he put off doing his science fair project till last minute, tonight. Well, he had already had the experiment going, just had to put the board and the report together tonight. He was over an hour late to bed, so we'll see just how happy he is in the morning. They are due by 8am tomorrow(this) morning. I'll post pictures tomorrow, I'm too tired to load them tonight.

My daughter acted up while we were at Walmart. She didn't want to stay put and I had to repeat pretty much everything I told her to do. She was melting down towards the end of the trip, pretty much while we waited in line to check out. I would tell her that her actions had consequences. She didn't do what she was told so she lost that little bit of freedom to stand on the other side of the cart away from me.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day, after all going to see Kid Rock in concert, so it has to be right?

Remember me?

Sorry it's been soooooo long since I've updated this. So much to do so little time to do it plus it's summer so we've been outside pretty much all the time now.

Where to start? The kids are out of school. This is a good thing and a bad thing! haha Don't get me wrong I LOVE all the kids around me on a daily basis including my own, but when they all get together it's almost like a thousand needles going on in my head.

Christian's ball is now over! No more running to the ball field 3 or 4 nights a week. Well, for not only his games but for my neices' as well. My eldest neice does have tournement all this week. So we'll see how many times I end up there for her. :) He got his trophy Friday. It was only a participation trophy but to see the pride in his eyes you would have thought he just won the olympic games all by himself. :) Next year he should be on a traveling team. Not looking forward to it, well, I am but I'm not. They count outs, strikes, and runs. I'm going to prepare him when it gets closer for it. :)

I played for my church's softball team in a tournement a couple of Saturdays ago. That was so much fun! I have never played on a team before so I know I made lots of mistakes but everyone was very nice and understanding and I did get in a couple scores and a couple of outs. It was a Double Eliminations Tourney. We got to play 3 games, won the first one, lost the last two. Ah well, it was fun and it was to help the youth program. I fell onto home and bruised my leg. It's still bruised and hurts like hades when I sit on it right. Some of the people are asking if I'm joining them to play for the league. I tell them I'm working on it and they're telling me, "You're going to." haha

We got another snake. A spotted ball python. I'm still working on getting pics. He is so little. Older than Princess but way smaller. His name is Dakota and he should only get as long as Princess is now. The first night we had him Jeremy went to turn on his night light and he was gone! Great! The little fart was coiled UNDERNEATH the tank right under the heating pad. We've since taped the holes up so he couldn't get through. Works for now. He kind of freaks me out a little. He just looks meaner than Princess.

I had to send my cat off to live at my parents' house. :( Sad really. I love that little booger. He got fleas sooooo bad. I could not get rid of them. I have bites all up and down my legs. We tried everything on him. Nothing worked at all. When it came down to it, I couldn't have him out when we had company over because he would attack anyone that came through the door. It seemed we had company (namely children) all the time and he was never out so I thought the best place for him was outside. I hate it cause I miss him soooo much. It's for the best really. Getting rid of the fleas plus I'm not worried about a child getting scratched up. He would attack unprovoked all the time. There are still fleas in the house, especially in the basement, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I walked down into the basement a couple of weeks ago and my legs were BLACK from all the fleas. I'm just thanking God they're not that bad up here.

Jeremy had his final appointment with his surgeon on Friday. He's been cleared and he even released him to go back to firefighting. Everything good there.

My head is so full of stuff and thoughts that I don't want out there so I'll just ask if you're the praying type please send some to me. Carrie, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I've joined the choir at our church. Fun stuff!

Oh, if you go to your local fair make sure you have enough pockets for your keys! My sister, best friend, and I took all our kids and I gave my keys to him for safe keeping. He was ready to leave so I asked for my keys. Couldn't find them! We searched everywhere and while I was waiting with the kids by the car, my lights come on as the doors are unlocked. He found them! Said they fell out of his pocket on the last ride we rode. Figures huh?

We are planning on taking a trip to an amusement park next week. I know for sure we'll have at least 6 kids with us. I don't know how many people my sister has invited to go along. This is going to be fun!
