The ER, Motorcycles, and Sibling Love

It's been a hectic week. Monday, while I took Lil' Red to swim lessons J passed out. He was asleep when I got home with the kiddos so I didn't know. He said that his stomach was hurting but thought it was just a stomach bug so he went on to work. A few hours after he's there he calls me and tells me he's coming home. He was hurting too bad to do anything. When he got home he took a shower. He came to the door and hollered at me to come in. He had bruising that looked like he was hit with a baseball bat or something. Just blood pooled up under the skin. Off to the Emergency Room we go.

They run all kinds of tests to find out what's wrong. CT Scan, EKG, and an ultrasound and it's all normal. The ER Doc seems to think that it's scar tissue from the hernia surgery about 2 years ago. Says that it may have snapped like a rope would and caught a nerve. He had his follow up yesterday and she wants him off till Monday. She says that she thinks the blood is pushing up against his scar and that's what is hurting him. She also said that his body should absorb the blood back into the system. He could use some prayers that we can get this fixed. He is so tired of being in pain all the time. I don't blame him.

Yesterday was Lil' Red's last day of swim lessons. He completed level Minnow I. I think it's great! He sure has come a long way since he started these lessons. He is now diving, well, mostly belly flopping. But if it gets him to go under I'm happy!

Our town is hosting their annual motorcycle rally this weekend. Motorcycles have been coming in since aobut Tuesday. It's a little after 11PM here and I still hear them driving up and down main street. I don't mind the noise so much cause it is only a weekend. No skin off my back.

Tonight before bedtime I caught Lil' Red reading Baby Girl a book. Too Cute!! Of course I took a picture! :)

I'm excited that tomorrow night I'm going out with a girlfriend of mine and won't be back till Sunday! First time I've ever done this without J. I feel guilty for going while he's here hurt but he said to still go and I had better not cancel. Lil' Red and Baby Girl are going to be here with him and Lil' Red can help with Baby Girl. I'm not worried.

*Pic Heavy* Had a good 4th BUT...

I'm glad it's all over. I love fireworks but I'm glad it's done. We've been shooting fireworks off since Thursday. Tonight we went to a friend's house to watch the city fireworks. They were really pretty this year. We had one shaped as an angel.

Last night we went to J's mom and step dad's house. I actually got some of the best firework shots I've ever gotten before. They may not be great but I'm proud of them. lol

Tonight we decided to set off fireworks. We have NEVER had a problem. J even asked the cops and made sure with his fire chief that it would be ok to set them off. They had no problem. Well, apparently one of our neighbors does. We have had the same neighbors for the last few years except one. Makes me wonder if they are the ones that called. I swear we're not bad neighbors and this is the only night(time) of the year that we are noisy. Neighbors a little further down have been shooting them off for the past 2 weeks. Lots of mortar shots going off and we get called in. J is a fireman, was there *supervising* but we had to load up all the neighbor kids and go to my parents' house. Sucks because out of the 12 kids that were here 2 couldn't come to finish the show. :( I felt so bad, I know those kids were really upset.

The new neighbors just moved in this week. If it was them that called, sucks to start out this way and to just assume that we're inconsiderate assholes. It wasn't even late, I don't even think it was even 8:30 yet. Maybe we have our first taste of bad neighbors. :-(

Life keeps getting in the way..

of my blogging. I really need to set aside a few times every night just to update this thing. lol

Sorry about being so behind. Now for some minor updates:

Lil' Red's baseball team lost the first game of championship week so it knocked them out of it. Ah well though they still enjoyed themselves. That's all that matters considering they're SEVEN.

My ear ache went away. Yay, I have been in the pool once in the last two or three weeks. Just haven't felt like getting back in. That and it has been way too cold for me. The kids enjoy it but I'm not so into it.

Lil' Red did swimming lessons. He's a Guppy. hehe Fixing to start another two weeks of lessons. Baby girl has been doing private lessons. Her last one is in the morning. She is just to dang cute. lol

We went to a birthday party tonight at Pump It Up (http://www.pumpitupparty.com/). We had a BLAST. I am so tired though. Baby girl made me go through almost every single inflatable there was on there. lol I did take my camara and got some pics but a lot of them didn't take well. :( I'll try to upload them for you to see.
