Ballgames...

Glad this season is almost over. Not too much longer anyway. We had our last scheduled season game tonight, but still two to make up and tournement week. Looks like I'll miss Lil' Red's games if they have any next week. We are having VBS at church and they were so short handed I had to help.



I have an ear infection, more than likely swimmer's ear. Sucker hurts like crazy though. So, I'm not going to sit here to much longer. I'll write more soon! :)

Baseball + Head = Goose Egg

Lil' Red had a baseball game tonight. He was playing right center and trying to stop the ball it hit is glove and popped up and smacked him in the forehead. It looked a lot worse from the stands than it was. I did meet him at third to look at it. We iced it and he went up to bat. Did pretty good too. I was proud of him for getting back into the game. :-) We still lost but only by one point.

Still haven't caught the danged mouse yet. My sister brought me some sticky traps to put out. So we'll catch him soon!

That's it for now. No pics from today though. :( I'll try to get some more tomorrow. :)

YUUUUUUUUCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have ANOTHER flippin' mouse in my house. WTF are they coming from? We had one right after they tore down the house across the street. Kind of figured we'd be in for it since that house had been abandoned for YEARS. Caught that sucker and now months later we have another one. Ewwwwwww! The sucker crawled across my FOOT!!! I'm sitting on my feet in this chair and I'm not moving till hubby gets home. I don't even have any more traps to get him with. This one is braver than the other was though. This one runs out in the middle of the floor. It's kind of funny though, being held hostage by a small mouse. Okay, maybe not that funny right now.

Update on the lump, yay it's gone. I'm assuming hormonal.

Before I tell you this bit of news I have to give a little background info. I have always had this irrational fear of being in a pool by myself. I can't even be in the water when someone has just their feet in there. I get all panicked and apprehensive. It's really weird. Well, we played softball yesterday for our church picnic and today I was really really sore. Like head to toes sore. So, I decided that it would be a good idea to get into the pool tonight after the kids went to bed. My thinking was the cool water would help. I got into the pool and same panicked feeling came back. I forced myself to stay in. I was able to stay in the pool for a little over 2 hrs. I am so proud of myself for facing this fear head on. I'm probably going to be sore tomorrow too. We will see. :)
